THE PROCESS
Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent lip color service that gives your lips a natural blush of color. It is done with a tiny mechanized needle to deposit pigment into the lips for a beautiful, custom-made color. With this service, you can even out the color of your lips and provide symmetry to uneven areas of the natural lip. The service typically takes 2-2.5 hours from start to finish.
The permanent makeup process begins with an initial consultation and color selection. A topical anesthetic is applied for 20 minutes so that you will feel less pain or discomfort.
During that numbing time the technician will go over your desired lip shape and tone. We will have draw on the desired shape first, so we can make any changes or tweaks before the tattooing.
Our technicians use a topical numbing cream to help reduce any pain or discomfort during the treatment. However, we recommend avoiding taking naproxen, ibuprofen, or aspirin beforehand as well as supplements like fish oil, garlic, ginko and vitamin E- these can increase bleeding and swelling.
